Our programs are designed with your child’s needs in mind, and we offer a variety of activities to engage and stimulate them throughout the day. Our experienced staff are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where your child can learn, grow, and thrive.
At Butterfly Childcare, we offer a range of programs to meet the unique needs of children. Our academic enrichment program is designed to enhance your child's learning experience through a fun and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. We also offer daily after-school care that includes a variety of activities such as literacy and mathematics, cognitive, book club, creative writing and journalism, math, science and technology, junior achievement enrichment, anti-bullying, and special talents programs.
Daycare Program
Butterfly Childcare welcomes children ages 6 months to 6 years old at our Daycare Program. Daily class activities include child-led play, music, art, language, STEM, physical activity, story time, and outdoor classroom. In addition to class activities, children receive individual attention and work together in small groups. At our center, we use philosophies and methods inspired by the ‘FLIGHT: Alberta's Early Learning and Childcare Curriculum Framework' and 'Emergent Curriculum' to inspire learning through a dynamic, emergent, and interactive curriculum. Daycare Program Offers
Infant Care: 6 - 19 Months
Toddler Care: 19 - 36 Months
Pre-School Care: 3 - 4 Years
Pre-Kinder Care: 4 - 5 Years
OSC Program
Butterfly Childcare understand that regular school hours do not fit well with every family’s schedule. That’s why Butterfly Childcare offer Before and After School Care to provide a safe place for children outside of regular school hours. Why limit fun and learning to school hours? At our center, we think any time is a good time for learning and fun and are excited to offer additional hours each day to help your child develop. Children are given the opportunity to enjoy outdoor play as well as indoor activities depending on the weather. Children can choose from a variety of non-directed fun activities during after care but there are also activities guided by teachers such as: art with plasticine and clay, painting with different techniques, science projects, construction with Lego, construction with recycled materials, and garden projects.

Music & Movement Program
Butterfly Childcare believes introducing music and movement is essential during early childhood development. Music and movement activities help children develop problem-solving skills and cognitive growth, self-expression, social development, creativity etc.
Music and movement also play a role in physical and emotional well-being and encourage children to express themselves safely and creatively.
Butterfly Childcare utilizes the collection of brilliantly composed originals and perfectly-picked traditional songs and chants – activities form YouTube, Sportify and Amazon Music such as a Hello and Goodbye song, lap songs, fingerplay songs, large movement and instrument songs, vocal play, rhythmic play, play-along jams, and lullabies create a musical adventure that brings every child's musical imagination and expression to life through The Joy of Music!
