Butterfly Childcare Pre-school room is equipped with age and developmentally-appropriate learning materials. Activities reflect the interests of the group and are often child-directed. As children engage in the activities that interest them, their feedback allows educators to build meaningful learning opportunities based on each child’s individual needs. Everyday activities are planned based on three key learning areas: literacy, mathematics, and science. Children are exposed to activities in these areas that will encourage; self-expression, listening, exploration & discovery, identification & recognition, and problem-solving. We provide physical activities and healthy lifestyle education while children are in our care. Creative activities at Butterfly Childcare are designed as visual arts, dramatic play, music, dance & creative movement, and culture & heritage.
